Construction of the memorial - Cement Work

Almost all of the cement work in Veterans’ Memorial Park has been done by Nagy & Wentling Construction Company of Dixon, Illinois.  Their willingness to work around their schedule to fulfill our needs was invaluable.  Many nights cement pours were made after their crews had finished their regular jobs.  Saturday pours became common and many times the finish work was completed as darkness approached.

Giant strides in construction of Veterans’ Memorial Park were made in 2005.
